I joined 2 of Katie’s online groups through my pregnancy during covid and honestly, I’m not sure how I would have coped without them. Katie was amazing at holding space for everyone involved. Baby wearing has changed my world and I was so unsure before she lent a hand! When the council had put New Mother's groups in the too hard basket Katie was there to help us. She adapted her model of care to provide New Mums with connection, guidance, (and lasagna). I recently met Katie for pregnancy counselling and the session was invaluable. I have worked with Katie in other spaces and circles before, so I was aware of her positive energy and counselling skills, however in this 1-1 I was really able to see them shine. She is incredibly knowledgeable in the birth and pregnancy space, but during our session I felt like I was completely in control of how much information was offered. Katie was very considerate to where I was at in my pregnancy journey, asking thoughtful and sensitive questions, but mostly listening empathically. I left the session feeling energised and equipped. 'Gather' (Mothers' Circle)

I had no idea what to expect when signing up for Gather, I thought a yoga and sound healing session would be great. But I got so much more than I could have imagined, a safe place to simply be, to release things that I didn't realise I was holding that needing to be released. Gather was like a big warm hug from a close friend that this mama had no idea I was craving.

It helped me feel less alone. I think connecting or relating to people online is great but there's something about physically meeting or talking with someone that is truly connected and I reeeeally need more of that.
